They seem to assume you have a 60hz monitor, so for people who have one that refreshes faster (mine is 144hz for example) the game runs more than twice as fast as it should. The screen was jittery when scrolling, maybe add a V-sync option? (Also, if you do, just wanted to warn you that I noticed an issue that seems to happen with many sprite-based games that use V-Sync. The cracked ground sprite from a heavy attack can appear on top of items that are above ground-level: Strong attack seems useless, in the time it takes to strike even without charging I can do the same amount of damage or more with light attacks. The main problem with this is after you have stepped on the pad and it glows (which itself has a delay) it has a much longer delay until the vines around the pool spark and the water drains, it makes it feel like nothing is happening when you stepped on the pad so the player leaves. The delay in activation when you step on the pad made it seem like nothing was happening, then when I had already left it displayed the message about refreshing my spirit after he as not even on-screen anymore. Would it be possible to add a manual control for zooming the camera in or out? There were times I wanted to get a close look at something but the camera zoomed way out, and times when I wanted to look around but the camera was in close.įor Mimir, originally I couldn't tell how it worked. This also makes it kind of a chore to explore areas when on top of the slow movement speed, you have to deal with the threats that keep holding you back. It felt like for every two steps I took forward I was taking one step back. This also made threats like the fish in the lake or falling rocks start to become a shore with how slow the character can progress coupled with how often they occur. The hub world is annoying to traverse due to it's massive size coupled with the character's slow movement speed. ![]() ![]() but it felt like the main character moves very slow, especially for how large hub world is. ![]() This will probably be difficult to work with since it would be changing a large part of the game mechanic. These seem to be the only forums for the game, so I hope these are the right place to post beta feedback, sorry I wasn't able to try the game over the weekend.
